When country moves to town

Design and Plans by: Draftline
Design input: Client and Ben
Location: Timaru, South Canterbury
Built on time: Yes
Built to budget: Yes
Size: 280sqm
Materials: Linear Weatherboard, Plaster cladding, Schist stone, coloursteel roof
Standout/Challenges: We built three levels on quite a narrow site. The first floor was a tilt slab basement/garage area requiring cranes and heavy machinery to manoeuvre around the site. They planned for the future with an internal lift and the interior scillion ceilings are a really nice feature. The deck and floor support are stolton floor beams (Fulton Hogan engineered design) handy for fire proofing downstairs storeys and insulation values-especially street noise.
